Scott Moore, a private practice attorney whose office was in Gladwin, joined the Clare County prosecutor’s office as the new assistant prosecutor. He has been a trial attorney since 1996 and has made appearances in more than 60 courts. He was an assistant prosecutor under both former Clare County Prosecutor Norman Gage and former Gladwin County Prosecutor, now Circuit Court Judge, Thomas Evans.
Moore states that he decided to accept the assistant prosecutor position because he is "interested in helping people to help themselves. Throughout my career, I’ve spent a lot of time with people getting to the bottom of why they bottomed out. From there, many of them have been able to put a shady past behind and begun to truly live life. This is more than a job; it is a calling and my goal is assist anyone I can to live a fuller, more abundant life.”
Prosecutor Ambrozaitis is very happy to have Scott join her team. “He is highly respected in the legal community and he possesses the characteristics needed of one in public service. It is nice to have him back in the realm of criminal prosecution.”
